NORTH ADAMS PUBLIC SCHOOLS TO OFFER FREE ADULT BASIC EDUCATION and ESOL CLASSES
The Northern Berkshire Adult Basic Education Program is currently enrolling students for fall classes. All programming is free of charge. HISET (formally GED) preparation classes are available for anyone interested in obtaining the Massachusetts Alternative High School Credential. Math and literacy courses will also be offered via both in-person and remote formats. ESOL classes are offered both in person and remotely for all levels. Technology assistance is available if needed. All applicants must be at least 16 years of age, and those under 18 years of age must be officially withdrawn from high school.
