KEEPING KIDS SAFE AND SECURE ONLINE: A PROJECT SAFE CHILDHOOD

The Berkshire District Attorney’s office, in collaboration with the United States Attorney’s Office, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Massachusetts State Police, North Adams Public Schools and Northern Berkshire Community Coalition invites you to a Project Safe Childhood Keeping Kids Safe and Secure Online evening internet safety presentation for parents.  Details are below.  Please feel free to share the attached flyer as well. 

KEEPING KIDS SAFE AND SECURE ONLINE: A PROJECT SAFE CHILDHOOD PRESENTATION FOR PARENTS 

US Attorney Rachel Rollins will be providing welcoming remarks along with DA Harrington and Superintendent Malkas followed by speakers from the FBI, MA State Police, US Attorney's Office and Berkshire District Attorney's Office.

The presentation will include:  Being safe and secure online, social media 101, digital footprint, gaming, cyberbullying, sexting, sextortion, protecting against online predation.

Drury High School (1130 Church Street North Adams)
(Dinner will be from 5:45 pm – 6:25 pm.  The presentation will begin at 6:30 pm)

Childcare and Dinner will be provided! RSVP and Masks Required to Attend.  We will have social distance protocols in effect. Berkshire Food Project will be providing dinner for that evening starting at 5:45pm.  The presentation for adults will begin at 6:30 pm in the auditorium. A game night is being organized by students from Williams College and MCLA for any parents/caregivers needing childcare in order to attend.
