Well, this was an interesting week, wasn’t it?  Who knew that Mother Nature would be so mischievous and throw a snow day at us on April 4?  Hopefully, this is the last bit of winter weather we have until November or December!  Here are the things you need to know as we move into a new week.

Monday, April 8:

The Solar Eclipse will occur at approximately 2:00.  I know that eclipse glasses have been purchased by the district for the older grades, and therefore, they will be allowed to go outside to view this phenomenon.  However, groups that do not have protective eyewear will stay inside.  If I am able to secure glasses for everyone prior to that time, this may change.  I will keep you updated.

Tuesday, April 9:

Grades 5 & 6 will take the second session of the ELA MCAS.

Friday, April 12:

TGIF!  We made it to April Break! Please remember that school will not be in session next week! We will reopen on Monday, April 22.

Saturday, April 13:

The district wide Art Show for Grades 5 & 6 will be held at the North Adams Public Library at 11:00 a.m..  Please take some time to enjoy some beautiful artwork and support our students!
