Good Afternoon, Brayton Families!
Well, spring is officially here, but Mother Nature doesn’t seem to have gotten the memo! Hopefully warmer weather will return as we move into a new week. There are lots of things going on at Brayton this week, so please read below for details.
MCAS testing begins this week! PLEASE be sure to avoid scheduling appointments on the following dates. Generally, testing begins at 9:00 and runs through lunch time.
March 27 & 28: Grades 3 & 4 ELA
April 3 & 4: Grades 5 & 6 ELA
April 24 & 25: Grades 3 & 4 Math
May 1 & 2: Grades 5 & 6 Math
May 8 & 9: Grade 5 Science
March 29 (morning) - Grades 5 & 6 will be attending “Spongebob, the Musical” at Drury.
Mass MOCA field trips have been rescheduled! Please mark your calendars with the following dates:
May 8 - Kindergarten - Ms. Bouchard
May 10 - Grade 2 - Ms. Piekos
May 13 - Grade 3 - Ms. Barnes
May 15 - Kindergarten - Ms. Cooke
Students in Grades 2, 4, & 6 will be going to the Clark Art Institute on the following dates:
May 2 - Grade 4
May 3 - Grade 6
* The date for Grade 1 is yet to be determined. I will update you when a specific date has been set.
