Good Afternoon Brayton Families!
Spring is right around the corner, and thank goodness the weather is finally starting to be more pleasant! Last week, Brayton students and staff had a wonderful week celebrating Dr. Seuss with our "Read Across America" week! This week, we will try to get back into our normal routine as we prepare for MCAS and other spring activities. Here is what you need to know.
All upcoming Mass MOCA field trips are temporarily on hold due to the ongoing strike of the museum's union employees. Classroom teachers will notify families when these trips resume.
Grades close on March 12, and report cards will be sent home on March 20. I will send out a text notification on the morning we place them in backpacks.
MCAS Dates - Please mark your calendars in order to ensure that your students are present on their assigned testing days.
March 27 & 28 - Grades 3 & 4 ELA
April 3 & 4 - Grades 5 & 6 ELA
April 24 & 25 - Grades 3 & 4 Math
May 1 & 2 - Grades 5 & 6 Math
May 8 & 9 - Grade 5 Science
